An Brú Club Notes Weekending 13/05/18

Last Friday 11th of May Moore Abbey Milers AC held their 4 mile Ballyhoura Run in memory of Michael “Curley” Cunningham. This was well supported by the club and a great turn out on the day with over 300 people taking part. The run was won by Niall Shanahan in a brilliant time of 19:36 and won the Curley Cunningham inaugural cup. Well done Niall.
The next run in the Ballyhoura Series is in Buttevant, Co. Cork on Friday 18th of May, starting at 8pm.

On Sunday 13th of May Mungret St. Paul’s GAA held their annual 10k run. Well done to all who ran and especially to Niall Shanahan on his second win of the weekend. Fantastic running Niall ! He stormed home to win the race in 32:31!

Also on Sunday 13th of May Bweeng Trail Blazers in Co. Cork held their Annual 5k run.


Well done to Gary Egan  and Thomas Mulcahy who ran the Bweeng 5k. Gary was 6th man home and 1st 040, with a time of 16:05 a PB for Gary and well done to Tom Mulcahy who’s time was 17:49, great running lads!
