Buttevant RC notes
Well Done :
Last Saturday saw 14 club members & supporters travel to Killarney to take part in the Run Killarney Half Marathon & 10k. Despite the very early start there was some great running, with some great PB’s on the day. Some very happy faces all round.
The Half started at Molls Gap & what a beautiful morning it was with some breathtaking scenery on the way back through the National Park, finishing in front of The Gleneagle. Fantastic running by Garry, Joanne, Ciara, Georgina, Janet & Marie with some impressive PB’s.
A few hours later the 10k started and again great running by James, Martina, Maria, Ed, Betty, Helen, Laura & Rose. Special mention to Laura & Rose who did their first 10k in style. Well done girls.
Very proud of everyone’s achievements. All the training and hard work was worth it.
Special thanks to Karen & Lynda who came along to support us. Greatly appreciated girls.
Meeting Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Please check our Facebook page & Twitter for details as to where training is starting from and what time.
