Busy weekend last weekend with our runners out both Friday and Saturday.
Well done to Betty, Martina and Katherine who took part in 2 races in less than 24 hours in some very hot conditions. Great running by you all in both races.
Friday night saw 7 Buttevant RC members take part in the 5th race of the Ballyhoura Active Series in Kilfinane for their 4 mile road race. Great running by James, Katherine, Martina, Betty, Janet, Ciara and Laura. Thanks very much to Kilfinane AC for a great race and great hospitality.
The girls definitely looked like they wanted to win Friday night & first on the start line ready for the off.
On a hot and sunny Saturday morning, 9 club members headed to Doneraile Park for Doneraile AC’s first 5k club event. Well done to Katherine, Helen, Ed, Jack, Joanne, Martina, Betty, Rose and Hilary in very warm conditions.
Congratulations to our very own Helen Stafford, who came first in her age category. Well done Helen from all of us in Buttevant RC.
Lastly congratulations and well done to Doneraile AC on a well-organized event and a great race.

We even managed some training, litter picks, race prep meetings, race prep, organize our own race we sure did manage to get through a lot these past few months
