Buttevant RC Club Notes Week Ending 4/3/2018

Due to ‘Storm Emma’ and the ‘Beast From the East’, last week ended up being a very quite week on the running front.

Training was cancelled Thursday night due to the Red weather alert being issued for the country.

On Tuesday night, we did change things up a bit and had our first ever indoor session.  The session was led by Brian O’Shaughnessy, with circuit type training and bonding drills.

Brian definitely put us through our paces, in a fun way, and we definitely felt the benefit of the session. The session was such a success that we are going to do indoor sessions for the remainder of the month of March on a Thursday nights.

Last Friday our workout was building ‘Snowpeople’.  The competition was fierce & impossible to call, they were all amazing in their own way, from the snow-babies to the snow-girls  to the 10ft snowmen.  Great effort everyone.

No races took last week but some hardy souls did do a run Sunday morning.

Now that February has come & gone it’s time to look back at what we did and what we achieved last month. Attached is a slideshow with highlights from the month.
