Unfortunately the inaugural Duhallow AC 10 miler due to be held last Sunday came up against the ‘Beast from the East’ and ‘Storm Emma’, it will be rescheduled with details to follow this week. Catherine Hanlon plans to run the Queen Elizabeth Winter 10k were also dealt a blow when she was forced to cancel her trip. Due to the road conditions our club decided to try out the Balllinaboola Loop near Ballyhea for our Sunday morning run, we had good fun and all returned with gleaming runners after their snow wash. For those of you who enjoyed the trail running, Tom Blackburn is holding a trail/hill running clinic this Saturday, please refer to the Ballyhoura Active news if you are interested in registering. This Sunday the MMRA are holding a 10k race at Ballinaboola, please note you must register on line with IMRA before the race.

We are holding our Easter raffle again this year and we will be following the same format as last year with regard to club kits, Margie will have cards from this weekend. We are introducing a club tshirt which can be used for racing and socially should you choose…….. Brian will have a design sample soon. We are also having an Easter social outing, Bowling in Cork with a date to be confirmed.
